Construction
Dubai Municipality issues No Objection Certificates confirming a project complies with building codes, health and safety standards, urban planning rules, and environmental requirements — required for new construction, interior fit-outs, and renovations before a construction-related trade licence activity can proceed.
Food & Beverage
Covers restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream shops, convenience stores, mini markets, and cafeterias. Food-related businesses need a commercial trade licence with a food-related activity code, combined with a food permit from DM's Food Safety Department — and in most cases, a Civil Defense fire safety NOC running in parallel.
Beauty & Spa
Covers beauty salons for men, salons for ladies, general beauty salons, and spa clubs. These require DM Health Department sign-off on layout — chemical storage, ventilation extraction, and wet-area drainage — in addition to the trade licence itself.
Health & Fitness
Covers health clubs and fitness centres under Dubai Municipality licensing. Depending on the facility's scope, this can also require DM structural review for heavy equipment loading and a Civil Defense NOC for occupancy and fire safety.
